Sony promises a reveal of the final package design in the coming weeks.
For an epic adventure as Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Sony has given a sneak peak in the premium of packages, the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Explorer Edition.
The final package hasn’t been revealed as yet but Sony are teasing fans showing a few pieces from the package. The Explorer Edition is confirmed to include a Nathan Drake figurine, ring and belt buckle that will also feature in the US Collector’s Edition. The Explorer Edition will come in a specially crafted ‘antic style replica traveller box with a real authentic feel to it: a definite collector item you won’t be disappointed with if you’re a true Nathan Drake fan’.
Other contents included in the Explorer Edition is a copy of the Special Edition with the DLC listed above and all pre-order bonuses (listed below) will also be included. Much like the InFamous 2 Special Edition, Sony are considering including a 3D lenticular image and a Nathan Drake passport holder. More images and updates to come in the coming weeks.
So onto the pre-order bonuses. Sony will have available as preorder incentives a selection of multiplayer goodies ranging from weapon mods, medal kickbacks and a booster available at selected retailers across Europe. The breakdown of what’s been announced so far is detailed below:
‘Callout Mod for AK-47′
‘Clip Size Mod for Para-9′
Increase the size of the bullet clip for your Para-9 pistol and spend more time shooting your opponents before having to reload. Something I will personally enjoy as I spend far too much time reloading and getting shot in the process!
‘Clip Size Mod for G-MAL’
Increase the size of the bullet clip for your G-MAL long gun and spend more time shooting your opponents before having to reload. The G-MAL is one of my favourite weapons so more bullets will make it even more enjoyable to use.
‘Creepy Crawler Kickback’
‘Carpet Bomb Kickback’
Send out three grenades with a single throw to blanket your opponent – or take out a group of opponents – with multiple explosions. Here’s a video for you. Enjoy the triple grenade damage!
