Enter Darksiders II, the much-hyped successor to the original Darksiders. Calling the game highly-anticipated would be an understatement given the success Vigil Games and THQ garnered back in early 2010. Darksiders II serves as one of the shining gems in THQ’s crown of 2012 titles, and with good and slightly sinister reason. The original Darksiders developed by Vigil Games turned out to be a sleeper hit in 2010, surprising critics and gamers alike with its high production values, clean execution and depth of gameplay. THQ have announced Vigil Games follow-up title Darksiders II has been delayed from its initial June release until August 2012.
