The idea of meshing together Poker with a fantasy role playing game may sound peculiar to most. For newly formed Indie developer Mystic Box, the fantastical combination of blending the two is taken to new heights in Runespell: Overture.

Mystic Box was only founded earlier this year, so taking a gamble with something as innovative and outlandish is a huge wager to stake on their first production title. Will the gamble pay out big rewards?

Last week Mystic Box revealed the battleplay trailer for Runespell: Overture. This week the Mystic Box team has unveiled more detail on the battle system used in Runespell: Overture with an explanation trailer on Mythic Poker.

The trailer is set on the Scarred Gate backdrop involving a battle with the Varangian, one of the six major allies players will encounter in the game. Defeating the Varangian will grant players access to the mythical creature.
