When the first details of DmC: Devil May Cry emerged, controversy ensued. Ninja Theory, the newly appointed developer to the long-running Capcom series were dealt angry backlash from dedicated fans who felt their beloved Dante had been bastardized. Casting aside the smooth, ivory-haired poster boy of demon-hunting in favour of a reckless “emo” sporting Goth hair who bears no resemblance to the protagonist of the same name was always going to be a hard sell, but Ninja Theory continue on, steady and true to their original design.

id Software’s high anticipated first-person shooter RAGE will receive an original three-issue comic book mini series published by Dark Horse Comics. Fans will be able to delve deeper into the world of RAGE with Arvid Nelson (creator of Rex Mundi) writting and Andrea Mutti (DMZ) leaning his penciling to the series.

The cover art (as seen below) was created by Hellblazer and Preacher artist Glenn Fabry. A comic book variant cover is also available with Stephan Martiniere, the art director for RAGE creating the design.

35 invites were made available and I was lucky enough to receive one for myself and a guest. Naturally I took my brother since we both share a passion for gaming. Filled with anticipation we made our way to Element Lounge. Being a first time for us to attend an event like this, we made sure not to be late.
