After a few days of teasers and gameplay trailers, another E3 passes. If the purpose of the show was to build anticipation for games yet to be played then it’s a case of mission accomplished, though undoubtedly the gaming masses will have a few titles (or perhaps even hardware) in mind that they simply can’t wait to get their hands on.
Yet wait they shall, as aside from a few noteworthy exceptions, the 2012 holiday season is now looking regrettably sparse. But what games will be worth the anticipation and exactly what is it that makes them so special?
