As expected at E3 2011, Nintendo revealed more details on the latest incarnation of Mario Kart for the Nintendo 3DS.

Reggie Fils-Aime, President and Chief Operating Officer of Nintendo America took to the stage announcing five key games to come out for the Nintendo 3DS.

“First off the line is Mario Kart. It’s a game you’ve enjoyed for years, but now its a tricked out version you haven’t driven before.” said Reggie Fils-Aime.

The 3DS, the revolutionary handheld video game system by Nintendo. So much hype and anticipation has surrounded its launch in late March – and, with a demonstration of this marvelous system at Southland in Melbourne on Saturday and Sunday (5th – 6th March), I decided to head on down to see what all the fuss was about.

Coming down the escalator I expected to see a small unimpressive display area similar to previous displays which I have become accustomed to. I was, however, greeted by a beautiful work of art; and what a fitting way to showcase the newest addition to Nintendo‘s video game family: the 3DS.
