Valve have announced an all-new Steam feature which gives the community power to choose the games they want to see released. Dubbed ‘Steam Greenlight‘, the initiative will allow both publishers and developers to reach out directly to gamers; giving studios greater exposure for their games and consumers greater power.

The studio has already experienced successes with flOw and Flower, however their latest work is the thing of dreams. Journey surpasses its predecessors soaring so high with its mystical scarf; it has earned the coveted title of fastest selling PSN game of all time. Minecraft. If you haven’t played it you’ve heard of it. If you haven’t heard of it, here’s the low down. Minecraft has become one the fastest growing indie games in history, grossing over 20 million pounds during its alpha and ongoing beta stages. It has sold over 1.8 million copies and is currently under development to be released for the Xbox 360, with full Kinect capabilities. Playdead, the developer behind the artistically stylish indie title Limbo has purchased itself back.
