To kick off the week, good news has come in this morning with the Sony PlayStation Network coming back online in Australia.
Once you have installed the latest 3.61 PSN update and attempt to sign in, you’ll be prompted to update your old PSN password with an all new password. Once completed, you’ll have full access to your PlayStation Network again. View the full article »
Anonymous, the infamous hacker group that has receive worldwide media attention in the wake of the Sony PlayStation Network shut down has, of all things issued a Press Release to Sony.
Titled “SONY, I AM DISAPPOINT“, Anonymous Press Release goes into setting the story straight bringing up articles written by journalists that the group has dubbed as making ‘false assumptions‘. View the full article »
What is turning out to be the biggest hacking incident in history has further snowballed with hackers posting user information taken from a Sony sweepstakes contest.
The information posted came from a 2001 sweepstakes contest conducted by Sony containing 2,500 sweepstakes contestants information allegedly stolen by hackers. Luckily the list did not include credit cards, social security numbers or password details. View the full article »
The last few weeks have been a series of nightmares for Sony with their PlayStation Network being invaded resulting in credit card theft and a two week shut down.

Last week some clever hackers hacked the PlayStation 3 demo and extracted high quality Mortal Kombat Versus Portraits of just about every Mortal Kombat character in the line-up.
Some notable mentions would be the creepy looking Kabal. I really liked Kabal when I was growing up and playing him for the first time on Mortal Kombat 3. High resolution and more detail to his character model paints him in a completely different light to how I remembered him. View the full article »
