Capcom have announced Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor for Xbox 360 Kinect at GamesCom 2011. The Kinect exclusive title is a first person action game designed to immerse players in a warring world set in 2082.

Steel Battalion Heavy Armor depicts a world devoid of semiconductors, where war is waged with rudimentary weapons as new superpowers struggle for dominance. In a twist of fate, the U.S. army has been forced to begin major landing operations on what was once its own soil.

Capcom are bringing out their best bag of tricks with fresh Resident Evil Revelations media to please the masses at this years GamesCom event in Cologne.

With an all new storyline, new characters and locations introduced for the Nintendo 3DS, Resident Evil Revelations will take the horror shooter to new territory with touch screen for weapon switching, evidence analysis and puzzle solving.

Players can also adapt their shooting style with the ability to quickly alternate between the first and third person shooter views with the 3DS controls.

Capcom along with Ninja Theory’s reboot of the Devil May Cry franchise looks to be progressing along nicely. DmC takes players back to the early years of Dante with stylish action and fluid combat with a ‘brutal and visceral edge’.

The Dante of DmC is a young man discovering and coming to terms with what it means to be the child of a demon and an angel. This split personality has a major impact on gameplay with Dante being able to call upon angel and demon abilities at will, transforming his Rebellion sword on the fly to dramatically affect both combat and movement.
