The Wii U is next console in line for the throne of the Nintendo empire, and it appears that the coronation will be happening sooner than expected. Today at the Wii U preview event in New York city, the official release date for the console was announced as well as the prices set for the two launch bundles, the Basic and Deluxe Sets.

The successor to Transformers: War for Cybertron has been officially confirmed today. The sequel will be titled Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, receiving a reveal in the upcoming Game Informer magazine with Optimus on the cover.
Scheduled for a fall 2012 release, the team at High Moon Studios are already busy working on the title. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron takes fans through the final, darkest hours of the civil war as the battle rages on between the Autobots and the Decepticons.
