Resident Evil 6 Collector’s Edition Details for Europe

In Resident Evil 6, the President of the United States at lasts reveal the horrible truth behind Raccoon City; now today in Europe, Capcom at last announced the pleasant truth behind the game’s Collector’s Edition! They have also released the steelbook pack shots you’ll need to be familiar with for maximum zombie carnage. Phew, looks like it all evens out then.

Europe’s Collector’s Edition looks to be full of extras that fans will be eager to add to their inventory.
All together the CE contains:

  • The Resident Evil 6 game (surprise!)
  • Zombie Steel Book
  • Resident Evil 6 Avatar DLC code for 360 owners only OR
  • Resident Evil 6 Dynamic Theme for PS3 owners
  • Exclusive hardback artbook showing the game’s concept art
  • Ivy University, Tall Oaks hooded sweatshirt (one size)
  • ‘The RE6 forces emblems’ – High quality enamelled zinc alloy emblems of the three main protagonists squad insignias, mounted and set in a limited numbered frame authenticated with signatures from Senior producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and RE6 Director Eiichiro Sasaki.

This edition also comes packed in the curious ‘Needle Bomb’ collector’s box, which we caught a glimpse of in the Resident Evil 6 announcement trailer. Unfortunately at this stage the only image of is relatively small in size, but expect an update as soon as we can get a closer look.

If you’re not one for collecting (or are perhaps low on cash; it’s cool, I feel your pain) then there will also be a sleek n’ simple steelbook version available for preorder from all retailers. The pack appears to be the same as that included in the Collector’s Edition, presuming the title and console decals are on the plastic slip. Check out the images below for the Europe’s silhouetted steelbook:

The retailers for the Collectors Cditions have yet to be confirmed, however it’s look as though Gamestop Germany and Amazon France will be two of them.
Resident Evil 6 will be releasing in Europe and Australia on October 2.
