A long time ago, in a Comic-Con far far away… well, in San Deigo last year to be precise, the Limited Edition Star Wars Kinect 360 Bundle was first announced. Now after Oooing Aaahing over that shiny chassis for six months Australia has finally been given a release date!

The Star Wars bundle includes:

  • Kinect Star Wars game
  • Custom R2-D2-themed Xbox 360 Console with custom sounds (Check out the MP’s Power on and Tray eject sounds)
  • White Kinect Sensor
  • Custom C-3PO-themed Xbox 360 Wireless Controller
  • 320 GB Hard Drive
  • Xbox 360 Wired Headset
  • Kinect Adventures game
  • Exclusive downloadable content

The bundle will be landing in Australian stores April 5, 2012 – granted its longer than 12 parsecs, but that’s still making good time.  It also looks as though the retail price has come down to $548.

Australian retailers taking preorders include EB Games, JB Hifi and Game, however if you’re looking to get one second-hand there is always the Jawas.
