Microsoft have won disputes to secure new domains for what could be the name of the next Xbox console. According to Fusible, Microsoft have come out as the owners of a series of Xbox-related domains.
XboxPhone.com, XboxTablet.com, XboxLiveTV.com, XboxCompanion.com, Xbox8.us and Xbox8.org have all been added to the stable of plausible future domains.
Whether the new Xbox could adopt the title of Xbox 8 over the more widely recognised successor guess name of Xbox 720 is still up in the air at this stage, but who doesn’t like a bit of rumour to discuss around the water cooler for the mid-week?
