Mega Man Legacy Collection Collector’s Edition Comes with Golden Mega Man Amiibo

Capcom will be releasing a special Mega Man Legacy Collection Collector’s Edition for the Nintendo 3DS this coming February.

Available in North America, Mega Man Legacy Collection will be available on February 23rd, 2016 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS in physical copies.

Gold-Mega-Man-Amiibo

All platforms will have a standard edition release, although contents differ slightly. Below is a detailed overview of what each version contains:

Nintendo 3DS Standard Edition contents (MSRP US$29.99):

  • Full game
  • 2 Nintendo 3DS Mega Man Themes
  • Sample compilation soundtrack featuring 18 songs from Mega Man 1-6
  • 4 Mega Man stickers

Nintendo 3DS Collector’s Edition contents (MSRP US$49.99):

  • Standard edition, including all physical bonus items
  • Set of 6 Mega Man postcards
  • Exclusive gold-colored Mega Man amiibo

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 retail version contents (MSRP US$29.99):

  • Full game
  • Robot Master cheat sheet
  • Sample compilation soundtrack featuring 18 songs from Mega Man 1-6
  • 4 Mega Man stickers

The Nintendo 3DS version will contain more than 100 new art and history pieces in the game’s in-game Museum. Eleven Nintendo 3DS exclusive remix challenges can also be unlocked using the original Mega Man amiibo. According to Nintendo, the Mega Man amiibo is the only amiibo that can unlock the new challenges.

The brand-new gold-colored Mega Man amiibo will be available only in the Colelctor’s Edition on 3DS.

If you don’t care for physical contents, you can also get Mega Man Legacy Collection digitally on Xbox On, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and eShop, prices starting at RRP US$14.99.

Nintendo Australia has yet to confirm availability in the region. Here’s hoping we get it sooner rather than later!
