BioWare along with Electronic Arts have announced the Mass Effect Trilogy, a compilation collection set launching for the holidays.
Mass Effect Trilogy combines all three award-winning Mass Effect titles in the one box. Presented in a tri-fold premium foil box with exclusive artwork, housing the five disc inside. Containing all three games, there’s more than 75 hours of Mass Effect goodness packed in.
The Mass Effect trilogy follows the rise of Commander Shepard from Alliance Marine to becoming the galaxy’s most elite soldier – the only soldier who can lead an all-out galactic war against an ancient alien race known as the Reapers. Heart-pounding action meets gripping interactive storytelling as players decide how their unique story unfolds over all three games. With a team of loyal soldiers at their side, each player decides how they will save the galaxy, from the weapons and abilities they utilize to the relationships they forge or break.
In addition to the announcement, BioWare have also declared November 7th 2012 as the official “N7 Day” for worldwide celebration of the Mass Effect franchise. Details will be revealed at http://MassEffect.com with a variety of in-game, online and live events planned for fans to show their N7 colors.
Mass Effect Trilogy will be on sale across Australia and New Zealand from November 8th 2012 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, priced at $99.95 AUD for the consoles release and $89.95 AUD for the PC version. It’ll also be available digital via PlayStation Network as a stand-alone title.
