With just over two weeks before the Mass Effect 3 demo hits Australian consoles, Bioware are refusing to let the VGA title of “Most Anticipated Game 2011” go to waste; cue the latest multiplayer trailer dubbed Special Forces, showing off the action, classes and alien races you’ll be seeing. Want? WANT!
“We are excited to be able to give gamers an expansive demo that will put them right on the front lines of this all-out galactic war,” said Casey Hudson, Executive Producer of the Mass Effect series. “The entire scale of the game is bigger than anything we’ve ever done. With its intense action, deep customization and raw emotional power, Mass Effect 3 will deliver a spectacular action RPG experience to fans of the series and newcomers alike.”
In addition to sneak peak at the single player experience of ME3, there is also a new co-operative gameplay mode to try out. To access the multiplayer demo straight away, gamers just need to have activated a Battlefield 3 online pass on any platform. Access to the multiplayer portion of the demo will then be applied to the account associated with the BF3 online pass. Easy! If you aren’t a Battlefield player then fear not, the multiplayer component can be accessed by all from February 17th.
