Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games to Receive Unique Yellow Wii Case

Sega Europe and Sega America are celebrating today. With just 365 days to go before the official opening of the Olympic Games in London in 2012, a new series of images have come fresh out of the publisher.

The first bit of big news is Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will come in a unique yellow casing exclusively for the Nintendo Wii.

This is the first time a third party publisher is getting access to a unique case colour. The only other Wii game to have a unique colour was New Super Mario Bros. Wii with its smexy red casing.

With over 19 million copies of the Mario and Sonic series sold worldwide, its little surprise that Nintendo would be so willing to offer up this unique first to Sega.

Sega also have new screenshots of Mario, Sonic and friends for both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo 3DS. Coming to the Wii version is an all-new enhanced 100m sprint, while the 3DS will receive for the first time, 110m hurdles.

Each game will pack a series of fun interactive sports challenges to keep you, friends and family on the edge of your seats.
