Crysis Remastered For Console; Latest Screenshots


Electronic Arts and Crytek will be bringing the critically-acclaimed Crysis to Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network. Available from October 2011, the download version will be enhanced and remastered specifically for the console experience.

Featuring the award-winning campaign mode and utilising Crytek’s CryENGINE 3 for new lighting, effects and visual upgrades. The nanosuit has been further fine-tuned with optimized control and full stereoscopic 3D support.

“We are extremely proud of what we were able to accomplish with Crysis. We set out to create a next-generation FPS and delivered a PC experience that became a benchmark for quality – and still is for many gamers even four years later,”
said Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek. “By bringing the single-player campaign to console, we believe we are again setting a new standard for quality in downloadable gaming.”

Crysis will be priced at 1600 Microsoft Points and £15.99 SRP for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 respectively.
