Bravely Default: Fighting Fairy Collector’s Edition

A collector’s edition pack for the upcoming Square Enix 3DS title Bravely Default: Flying Fairy has been announced for Japan, packed with goodies showing off the games beautiful artwork and music. Developed by Silicon Studio, creators of the entertaining 3D Dot Game Heroes, this RPG is set to feature beautiful visuals, a ton of voice acting and even augmented reality.

In addition to the 3DS game, the Collector’s Edition includes:

  • An exclusive art book
  • Protective 3DS custom case
  • B2 sized poster (27.8 x 19.7 inch)
  • Pretty box to keep it all neat
  • Official sound track, with a CD case which appears to converts into a character diorama

Although no larger images are available at this stage, the 3DS protective case appears to be clear plastic with white details for the fairy logo. Additionally the final appearance of the poster has yet to be confirmed, however as the product is marked ‘available for purchase separately’ it will likely be the Bravely Default poster already on the Square Enix store (see image to the right). Neither the art book nor the 3DS case will be available for sale separately, so it looks as though this collector’s edition will be the only way to get your hands on them.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be launching in Japan on October 11, 2012, with an announcement expected soon for the game’s localisation for other regions. The game is available for preorder through the Square Enix store, with the standalone available for ¥6,090 and the Collector’s Edition priced at ¥12,800.
