Whether you’re aligned with Assassin’s or Templar, it’s likely you have been waiting in anticipation for more details on the next historical flashbacks of one Desmond Miles. There has been leaked images, cover art and screenshots, but now you can see the visions of the past and history as it was made, with the first trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 released by Ubisoft today.
In development for three years and twice the production capacity of any Ubisoft title before it, Assassin’s Creed 3 is currently in development by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with six other Ubisoft studios.
Departing from Europe and setting a course for the American Revolution of the late 18th century, Assassin’s Creed 3 see a new assassin as the main protagonist of the series. Ratohnhaké:ton, a Native American and English heritage with the adopted name Connor for simplicity sake is the latest hero for justice as the ancient war against the Assassins and Templars rages on.
Players become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylised and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date. Assassin’s Creed III spans the Revolutionary War, taking gamers from the vibrant, untamed frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields where George Washington’s Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army.
Powered by the new Ubisoft-AnvilNext gaming engine, Assassin’s Creed 3 is touted to deliver a breakthroughs in visual quality, character models and artificial intelligence, bringing the American Colonial war time right into your living room.
